about dr. anthony a. Sanders
Dr. Sanders is a native of Hallandale Beach, Florida, born to Lossye Sanders, raised and nurtured by his adopted mother Curlene Harvey who taught him to love and fear the Lord. As the Spirit of God tugged on his heart, a desire for the things of God became evident in his life. Pastor Sanders began teaching Sunday School, assisted in the establishment of the Men’s Ministry and ministered faithfully at Broward County Jail for six years. He was ordained as a Deacon, and later ordained as a Minister under the leadership of Rev. Joe C. Johnson.
He served as a Sunday School Teacher, Men’s Ministry Leader, Deacon, and was ordained as a Minister in 1999. Pastor Sanders heeded the call of God for his life and founded Higher Vision Ministries in January 1999 in the living room of his home, a church whose focus is to reach the un-churched and provide resources to the local community. Pastor Sanders has been married to Jessica since March 25, 1989. They have four sons Shaun, Ashan, A.J. and Jared, and a host of grandchildren. He has one brother: Eric S. George and one sister Deidre George Johnson, three other brothers that are deceased.
